‘Say it to me now’
I still remember the first time I watched “Once.”
I cried.
Not because it was a sad film,
but because it reminded me that music could be a way to live.
Glen Hansard didn’t simply write songs.
He reminded many of us that an honest voice is enough,
that beauty doesn’t need to be loud,
and that hope can begin with a single guitar and a single heart.
Years have passed,
but his music has stayed with me,
quietly shaping the way I think about life and the path I want to follow.
Thank you, Glen.
Your songs will continue to accompany people
between sunset and moonlight.
Rest in peace.
p.s.
Because of you, I never stopped believing that a life devoted to music was possible.
あなたのおかげで、
私は音楽に人生を捧げるという希望を、
信じることをやめませんでした。
Glen Hansardは、多くの人の人生に静かな灯をともした人でした。
アイルランド、世界中の音楽家たちから深い追悼の声が寄せられています。
わたしもここに記します。
